How to enter an exhibit for the Show

In August all those interested can collect a Show Schedule that lists the categories. These are available from various locations in and around the village including the Post Office and Little Tipple. Each participant must also complete an entry form per person, listing each category that they wish to enter into. The 2023 Show Schedule and Entry Form (PDF) can be viewed and printed here

Up to the Thursday prior to the Show

Completed entry forms can returned to the places mentioned on the entry form, together with a small fee (30p) per category entered. The closing time for entry forms is 17:30 on the Thursday prior to the Show.

On the day of the show

On the morning of the Show, exhibitors take their exhibits to the village hall between 08:30 and 10:00 and leave them there for judging. Stewards are available to help and advise. Please allow plenty of time to set up your exhibits as the hall can become busy. The hall is closed for judging from 10:30. Your exhibits should remain on display until 17:00.
In the afternoon the hall is opened to all members of the public, who can look at all exhibits and see the winning entrants. There is also a trophy presentation at 16:30.
